Judicial Crisis Network Launches New Phase of #GridlockReform Campaign with $1 Million Ad
Ad Calls for Senate Democrats to Stop Obstructing and Confirm Trump Judicial Nominees
WASHINGTON –The Judicial Crisis Network is launching a million dollar, national television and digital ad campaign targeting Senate Democrats for continuing to obstruct President Trump’s agenda by not confirming his outstanding judicial nominees. The ad will run for two weeks on CNN, Fox, and airport channels and is part of JCN’s #GridlockReform campaign that was launched last year.
Statement from Judicial Crisis Network Chief Counsel and Policy Director, Carrie Severino:
“President Trump and Senate Republicans have confirmed a record number of exceptionally qualified judges who will follow the law and uphold the Constitution. Senate Democrats, led by Chuck Schumer (D-NY), want to stop that progress so that liberal extremists can maintain control of our courts.”
“Confirming President Trump’s extraordinary nominees is a top priority for JCN, and we are committed to doing whatever necessary to end the Democratic obstruction.”
**Note: JCN played a leading role in previous Supreme Court battles, including having announced that they would spend $7 million stopping Garland and later they announced they would spend up to $10 million supporting now-Justice Gorsuch.
