Yesterday the Senate returned from a one-week recess and voted to invoke cloture on the nomination of Bridget Shelton Bade, President Trump’s nominee to the Ninth Circuit from Arizona. A confirmation vote on Bade’s nomination is scheduled for this afternoon. If confirmed, she will be the seventh court-of-appeals judge confirmed during the 116th Congress, and the 37th since Inauguration Day.
