Last week was another big week on the judicial nominations front. Three new district judges were confirmed, bringing the total number of judges confirmed during the 115th Congress to 42. Notwithstanding the fact that these three judges were confirmed by wide margins (and two of them were confirmed unanimously), the Democratic minority yet again required time-wasting cloture votes for all three nominees.
Additionally, President Trump also announced his fifteenth wave of judicial nominees (discussed in detail here), which brings the number of pending nominees to 94.
