Conservative Judicial Group Announces Another Ad Buy in West Virginia Thanking AG Morrisey for Advocating for West Virginians and Calling on Manchin to Follow Suit and Stop Rubber Stamping Obama’s Liberal Agenda
This is part of a six-figure West Virginia TV and Digital Ad Campaign
ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The Judicial Crisis Network is announcing a new ad campaign in West Virginia. This new ad will air on TV and digital for several weeks. The ad showcases the contrast between West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey — who is advocating for West Virginians and protecting jobs in the coal industry — while Sen. Joe Manchin supports President Obama’s war on coal and on the Second Amendment by refusing to oppose Merrick Garland’s nomination to the Supreme Court. Garland’s record leaves no doubt that he will limit the right to bear arms and rubber stamp the war on coal. The new ad is in addition to the recently-announced ad campaign in five states including West Virginia. With this new ad, the group is spending more than $200,000 so far in West Virginia alone as part of a new offensive highlighting Garland’s liberal record.
“Judge Garland has consistently rubber stamped the EPA’s agenda, yet Senator Manchin still refuses to oppose his nomination. Let that sink in. The Mountain State’s coal industry is already under attack and a Garland Court would deal a devastating blow to the livelihoods of millions in West Virginia and other energy states. By supporting Garland, Senator Manchin is turning his back on West Virginians. Instead of carrying water for President Obama and Harry Reid, he should follow in the direction of Attorney General Patrick Morrisey who has consistently stood up to Obama’s war on coal and worked to protect jobs.
