“With his nomination of Patrick Bumatay to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, President Trump has nominated another exceptional legal mind to the bench.  He has an impressive record including serving at the Department of Justice under three presidential administrations and six Attorneys General. As a federal prosecutor in the U.S. Attorney’s office for the Southern District of California, Bumatay has prosecuted the worst of the worst and also argued cases before the Ninth Circuit. He clerked for Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Timothy Tymkovich. Patrick will fairly apply the law and adhere to the Constitution. I look forward to his swift confirmation.”
