Judicial Crisis Network Releases Fresh Polling; Shows Majority of West Virginians Support Confirming Judge Kavanaugh

WASHINGTON – The Judicial Crisis Network released fresh polling from North Star Opinion Research that found the majority of West Virginia voters want the U.S. Senate to confirm Judge Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.

West Virginia voters say that Judge Kavanaugh should be confirmed by 51 to 30 percent – a margin virtually unchanged since July.  This includes support among independents by a 50 to 24 percent margin, and among women by a 45 to 35 percent margin.

Statement from Judicial Crisis Network’s Chief Counsel and Policy Director, Carrie Severino:
“The people of West Virginia have made it clear they want Judge Kavanaugh, a fair and independent judge, confirmed to the Supreme Court. Senator Manchin has a choice between standing with his constituents or endorsing a Democratic smear campaign to destroy a decent man.”
