“A functioning judiciary is critical to our Constitutional republic, and President Trump is fulfilling his responsibility to fill these vacancies. The Senators withholding their blue slips for qualified nominees are trying to make a political statement, but all they’re doing is denying justice for countless Americans who need it. One senator shouldn’t have the ability to hold up the process for courts covering multiple states. We support ending this gridlock and abandoning the blue slip process.”
