JCN Launches New Seven-Figure Ad Buy Calling Out Senate Democrats for Endangering SCOTUS Justices

Phase Two of $10 Million Grassroots Mobilization Campaign

WASHINGTON, D.C. — JCN today launched the second phase of its campaign showing how Democrats are endangering the lives of Supreme Court justices.

Phase Two features another $1 million ad buy. The ad, “Tipping Point,” will air on national cable and in Georgia, Nevada, and Washington D.C. markets.  It will also run digitally.  The versions of the ads running in Georgia and Nevada will name Senators Raphael Warnock and Catherine Cortez Masto, respectively, for turning a blind eye to the continuing threats towards the justices—even after the attempted assassination of Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

The first phase of JCN’s campaign featured a $1 million ad blitz highlighting Attorney General Merrick Garland’s refusal to enforce federal law making it illegal to picket at the residence of a judge.  JCN’s comprehensive campaign effort includes paid advertising, earned media, research, grassroots activity, and coalition engagement.

JCN recently released polling revealing that 61% of Americans—including a 34 point margin of Independents—believe protests at the homes of Supreme Court justices and harassment at restaurants undermine our democracy. See topline analysis and crosstabs here.

Statement from JCN President Carrie Severino:
“Democrats are endangering justices and their families by encouraging radical protesters and refusing to condemn the ongoing threats against Supreme Court justices—even after the attempted assassination of Justice Kavanaugh. Will it take blood on their hands for Democrats to take a stand and condemn the radical activists?”
